Royal Columbian Hospital

The new 75-bed Mental Health and Substance Use Wellness Centre was built by Bird as part of the redevelopment of the Royal Columbian Hospital. The 13,000-square-metre, six-storey building provides both inpatient and outpatient services. Construction included a two-level bridge link to the existing hospital with one level for patient movement and the other for hospital services. The building also has a multi-level 450-stall underground parade to service the campus.
